TOLEDO, Ohio — University of Toledo senior punter Bailey Flint has been named to the official watch list for the Wuerffel Trophy. The award is presented annually to the FBS player that best combines exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement. It is the second consecutive season that Flint has been nominated for he award.
Flint has been Toledo's regular punter since 2017. He had his best season in 2019 when he was averaging 47.3 yards per punt until his season was cut short due to injury. He holds a bachelor's degrees in media communications and theater, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in liberal studies with a focus in theater.
