TOLEDO, Ohio — University of Toledo senior punter Bailey Flint has been named to the official watch list for the Wuerffel Trophy. The award is presented annually to the FBS player that best combines exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement.
Flint was averaging a MAC-best 47.3 yards per punt through four games in 2019 when was sidelined for the remainder of the season with an injury. He has been the Rockets' starting punter since his freshman year, moving his punting average from 38.0 as a freshman, to 40.9 as a sophomore and 47.
