TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo senior Bailey Flint was today named to the preseason watch list for the Ray Guy Award, presented annually to the nation's best punter. Flint was also named to the watch list in 2020.
Flint has been Toledo's regular punter since 2017. He had his best season in 2019 when was averaging 47.3 yards per punt until his season was cut short due to injury. He holds a bachelor's degrees in media communications and theater, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in liberal studies with a focus in theater.
The Augusta Sports Council created the Ray Guy Award in 2000 to honor Thomson, Georgia native and College and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, Ray Guy.
