Toledo, Ohio— University of Toledo sophomore punter Bailey Flint (Melbourne, Australia) was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Co-Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in Toledo's game vs. Buffalo on Oct. 20.
Flint averaged 41.4 yards on eight punts in windy conditions vs. the Bulls. He had a career-long punt of 58 yards and had two punts downed inside the 20-yard line. For the season, Flint is averaging 42.0 yards per kick.
The Rockets (3-4, 1-2 MAC) travel to Western Michigan (6-2, 4-0 MAC) this Thursday night before returning to the Glass Bowl on Wednesday Oct.
