CLEVELAND, Ohio - Toledo freshman Bailey Curry has been named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
This is Curry's second weekly conference award of the season and the fifth time that a Rocket has been honored. Curry and junior pitcher Heather Webb have combined to take home a player of the week award in four of the last five weeks for UT.
During the week, Curry hit a blistering .727 (8-for-11) with a double, a home run and six RBIs in the Rockets' three game sweep over Akron.
