LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. - Toledo posted its best round of the tournament with a five-over par 293 on Tuesday en route to an eighth-place finish at the Mid-American Challenge. Freshman Angel Hii led the way for the Rockets in their first tourney of the season at the par-72, 6,068-yard Royal Lakes Golf Course.
Hii followed up a pair of 74's in the first two rounds with a one-under par 71 to tie for 12th place at three-over par 219 in her first collegiate tournament.
Freshman Macy Hanus carded Toledo's second-best round of the day with an even-par 72 to finish in a 37th-place tie at 12-over par 228 (79-77-72).
