After weeks of schedule releases, Wednesday was finally the Mid-American Conference’s turn.
And local fans will like what they see.
The Battle of I-75 will fall on a Saturday for the second consecutive year, as the University of Toledo travels to Bowling Green on Oct. 11.
“It’s one of a handful of rivalry games we have that are really special games, and they have great local importance and, quite often, they have great national importance,” MAC commissioner Jon Steinbrecher told The Blade. “I understand the desire to, as often as possible, put those on Saturday. I understand the desire of our television partner to be able to put that on a national platform.
