COLUMBUS, Ohio - Sophomore Ross Adolph tied the game with a three-run home run in the top of the seventh inning, but the Rockets ultimately fell 11-8 to Ohio State on Tuesday night at Bill Davis Stadium.
The Rockets (15-37) were led by Adolph and sophomore Riley Campbell who recorded a pair of hits and scored two runs each. Junior Dalton Bollinger went 3-for-5 with a double for the Midnight Blue & Gold.
Toledo scored the opening run of the game in the top of the first inning as Bollinger drove in Campbell with his team-high 18th double of the season.
