University of Toledo football coach Jason Candle threw the thought of a spring depth chart to the wind this spring, saying he was focusing on development of his players and creating a competitive atmosphere without labeling his players as starters or backups this early in the process.
That being said, it’s never too early to project potential starters. With spring practices in the book, here is a look at who may start at each position come fall.
Quarterback: Mitch Guadagni/Eli Peters
This is the marquee position battle of the offseason as Guadagni and Peters shared reps with the first team during spring practice and will compete to replace Logan Woodside.
