There weren’t many people in attendance for Saturday’s Toledo-Akron game, but the ones who did brave the chilly conditions in the Glass Bowl saw another UT demolition.
The Rockets’ 49-14 win was their third straight to end the regular season, all with an offensive flair that had been missing early in the year. Not anymore.
Toledo isn’t going to the Mid-American Conference championship game, but there’s reason to be encouraged. For one, UT was in every game of the season. Second, the offense appears to have found its quarterback of the present and future. And No. 3, Vince Kehres and Craig Kuligowski’s defense is championship worthy.
