Toledo hosts Northern Illinois at 8 p.m. on Wednesday night at the Glass Bowl. It’s the final home game of the season for the Rockets. Here are three things to watch:
1) Can Toledo move the ball consistently?
Northern Illinois comes to Toledo with the third ranked total defense in the Mid-American Conference at 372.7 yards per game. Toledo ranks second in the MAC in total offense with 449.2 yards per game, so it will be interesting to see what gives in this matchup. There is uncertainty for Toledo at the quarterback position after Eli Peters left late in the game against Kent State last week.
