At 5 p.m. the Rockets will tip-off against No. 22 Michigan State in the Breslin Center, one of college basketball’s most raucous environments. The matchup will give UT an early milepost on where it stands against elite competition.
In the Bahamas, Toledo proved that it can complete the three-games-in-three-days gauntlet. Now, a four-game stretch that features road games at Michigan State and Richmond and home games against Bradley and Marshall can boost UT’s NCAA tournament resume.
