ATHENS, Ohio — The University of Toledo women’s basketball team was outscored 51-27 in the second half, as Mid-American Conference foe Ohio ran away with an 86-58 victory at the Convocation Center.
Tanaya Beacham led the Rockets (11-13, 6-7 MAC) with a double-double effort of 20 points and 14 rebounds. Beacham made 9 of 12 shots and collected 11 defensive rebounds.
Quinesha Lockett scored eight points, and Soleil Barnes pitched in seven points in 14 bench minutes.
Erica Johnson paced Ohio (17-7, 10-3 MAC) with 31 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists. Johnson made 11 of 17 from the field, and she played in a team-high 34 minutes.
