TOLEDO, Ohio - Ten players from the University of Toledo were selected to the 2022 All-MAC Football team in a vote by the league's head coaches, the Mid-American Conference announced on Wednesday.
Toledo had five first-team selections, the most in the conference, and five second-team picks. Six Rockets made All-MAC for at least the second time. Senior defensive end Jamal Hines, a second-team pick, earned all-league honors for the fourth time. Senior defensive tackle Desjuan Johnson earned All-MAC for the third time, making the first-team after second-team selections in 2020 and 2021.
Joining Desjuan Johnson on the All-MAC first-team are sophomore offensive lineman Nick Rosi, junior linebacker Dallas Gant, sophomore cornerback Quinyon Mitchell and sophomore safety Maxen Hook.
