Texas Tech's Erik Ezukanma was probably one of the more noticeable players leaving The Star in the team's annual spring game.
The redshirt freshman can likely make an impact in a receiving core looking for a player to step up and help move the chains. Ezukanma (6-3, 180 pounds) proved capable of making a big play downfield when he hauled in a previously broken up pass in the second quarter of the live portion of the scrimmage on Apr. 13. The Timber Creek High School graduate also displayed an ability to adjust to extended plays with a long pass from quarterback Jett Duffey in the spring game.
