Texas Tech looks to snap its current two-game losing streak against West Virginia at 11 a.m. Saturday and cement the team’s bowl-eligibility which has eluded the Red Raiders since their 30-20 win over Kansas a few weeks ago.
Of course, West Virginia is hoping to get another win toward being bowl eligible as well, after it lost four straight games to the top four teams in the Big 12 — Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, the same teams Texas Tech has lost to.
Needing just one win to become bowl eligible, the pressure will be on next week against Kansas State if the Red Raiders can’t get the job done in Morgantown — the last thing they need is to go into the road trip against Texas in a do-or-die situation for the post-season.
