The opening weekend of the college football season presented a savory buffet of big-time matchups.
In contrast, Week 2 is pretty much what's still left in the fridge. This time, there are not headline-grabbing, eyeball-demanding matchups of ranked teams. The biggest story is the 150,000 or so fans who will crowd into Bristol Motor Speedway to watch Virginia Tech and Tennessee.
With all the clutter comes the chance to get some attention. TCU and Texas Tech each has "power five" opponents on the schedule and each represents some of the best viewing options this week. TCU hosts Arkansas out of the SEC on Saturday.
