Decision day is nearing for one of Texas Tech’s top 2018 basketball targets. Mansfield, Texas guard Isaac Likekele announced on Twitter Tuesday that he will make his college choice Friday afternoon.
The 6-foot-4, three-star guard is down to three schools, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and UTEP. After visiting the Cowboys this past weekend, the No. 10 ranked player in Texas and No. 24 point guard in the nation has been to all three campuses in recent weeks.
Texas Tech is considered by many to be the favorite. Chris Beard and his staff have been forming a relationship with Likekele for months officially throwing their hat in the ring in early April once he was granted his release from Fresno State with which he signed a letter of intent last fall.
