The senior recorded 323 all-purpose yards, which ranks fourth all-time in Texas Tech single-game history.
Grant totaled a career-high 178 receiving yards and 146 kickoff return yards.
“He played tough,” coach Kliff Kingsbury said. “He’s been great for us all year and he keeps going, keeps grinding. So proud of his effort.”
Grant’s 90-yard reception early in the first quarter marked the longest by a Red Raider since Rodney Blackshear went a school-record 95 yards against Houston in 1991.
“I was expecting to go to the right and I wouldn’t be able to do it,” Grant said.
