Three things: Texas Tech vs. Kansas State

1. DeAndre Washington – Against a team that has taken pride in its rushing defense since 2011, DeAndre Washington did as he pleased.

The senior running back finished with 248 rushing yards and three touchdowns and averaged 9.2 yards per carry.

Washington scored on a five-yard run in the first quarter before exploding for an 80-yard touchdown run the following drive.

Washington became the first Red Raider to rush for at least 200 yards since Shaud Williams against Colorado on Oct. 16, 1999.

It’s the 27th time in program history where a Red Raider as rushed for at least 200 yards.
