Here are three takeaways from Texas Tech's 91-67 loss to No. 1 Oklahoma.
1. Pulling away early
Trailing by double-digits at halftime, Texas Tech found itself behind the 8-ball early against No. 1 Oklahoma in Norman. The Sooners used a 19-5 run in the first half to set an early tone and the Red Raiders could not produce any consistent shot-making to recover from the early deficit, falling 91-65.
Texas Tech made 33 of its field goal attempts, surrendering eight blocks to forward Kadiim Latin. Oklahoma trailed only once during the contest, which was prior to the run, and the Sooners netted 50 percent of their 20 three-point field goal attempts.
