When the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles faced off in the Super Bowl on Sunday, 10 college players in SportsDay's coverage area will join their teams' chase for a ring.
With the Eagles' 41-33 win, four local college players won a Super Bowl: two Longhorns, and one player from Oklahoma and TCU respectively.
The Longhorns, with three players on Super Bowl rosters, led all SportsDay area teams. Super Bowl LII marked the 13th straight season a Texas football alum competed in the big game.
How well represented are other area schools?
Two players from Oklahoma, Texas Tech and TCU were represented, while Martellus Bennett, on Patriots injured reserve, was the lone Aggie standing.
