The reason why: Bustin, a transfer from Kilgore College, played only three seasons for the Red Raiders, but set the school records for career field goals (50), single-season field goals (23 in 2013) and single-game kick scoring (18 points).
Though his oddly-spinning kicks were ridiculed by some fans, they worked much more often than not. Among the Red Raiders’ top 10 in career field goals made, Bustin’s 76.
