An emotional and drained Kirby Hocutt came to the podium on Sunday to deliver the news that everyone had figured and had predicted since the loss to Baylor on Saturday, Kliff Kingsbury had been let go. This team had been up and down all season, ending the season losing five straight games. Yes, some of them were close, but alas, this team could not get it done.

No matter whether you were for keeping Kingsbury or for letting him go, we can all respect the class and intensity that Kingsbury brought to the game and to the job.
