It has been a big year for Texas Tech Athletics. The basketball team earned the program’s first NCAA Elite Eight trip and a second-place Big 12 regular season finish, a program-best. The excitement over the basketball team even brought ESPN’s College Gameday to visit. The baseball team is on it’s way to Omaha for the third time in five years. The track team finished their season as Big 12 champs. Golf was in the NCAA quarters. Tennis and softball both made their respective NCAA tourney. Volleyball made the title game of a postseason tournament. Football made a bowl game.
