MIAMI (2-0)
This isn’t an exotic, once in a lifetime trip for senior guard Angel Rodriguez.
Instead, the Puerto Rico-native is going home.
“His mom is still there, and his brothers are there,” Miami coach Jim Larranaga said. “He has a large family. I expect he will have a huge fan club at all of the games. He is a great kid, a great floor general. He has had a great career so far. And we expect, this is his senior year, to be his best year ever.”
Rodriguez is averaging 11.5 points per game to go alongside 11 total assists to only two turnovers.
