In December, former Nevada wide receiver McLane Mannix announced he would be transferring to Texas Tech.
Texas Tech announced that Mannix received a waiver for immediate eligibility on Saturday, meaning he will be available to play in the 2019 season.
Mannix caught 50 balls for 875 receiving yards and seven touchdowns this season, leading all Wolf Pack receivers in yards and scores. He was second on the team in receptions.
Mannix's experience should make him a big factor in filling the voids left by Antoine Wesley and Ja'Deion High's departures. The pair combined for 2,214 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.
