Texas Tech's Kliff Kingsbury is college football's QB whisperer. Would his work translate to the NFL?

Let's start with the obvious and get it out of the way: Quarterbacks are hard to find anywhere, but especially at the NFL level. Jerry Jones thinks he's good at it because he turned up his last two in free agency and the fourth round. Except for a forgettable five-year period, in fact, Jerry's basically had three starting quarterbacks. Meanwhile, over essentially the same span, Cleveland has had enough quarterbacks to provide escorts for the Miss America pageant.

Babe Laufenberg, a former quarterback himself, is so aghast at how much money the NFL wastes on quarterbacks that he came up with a solution:

What if a team hired a guy whose only job was to find a quarterback every year?
