The National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) is giving some unexpected joys to the Red Raiders fans, as the team led by head coach Tony Graystone defeated UC Irvine in quarterfinals and TCU in semifinals, qualifying for the final game of the tournament.
The next opponent will be Ole Miss, in a game that will be played in Oxford on Tuesday, December 12th, at 6 p.m. This important match will also be nationally televised on ESPN 3.
In quarterfinals, Texas Tech defeated UC-Irvine 3-1 (25-14, 21-25, 25-16, 25-20), with only a runaround in the second set that didn’t affect the final result of the game.
