5. B.J. Symons
Symons was a Red Raider from 1999-2003. He served as Kingsbury's backup until his senior year in 2003. As a backup, he tossed for seven touchdown passes while completing 56 of his 80 total attempts. However, it is what he did in his final season that puts him at No. 5. Symons tossed for 5,833 yards which remains the record in a single-season in NCAA history.
