Tech's defense will need a leader to improve on its 5-7 record from a season ago. Here is one potential breakout defensive candidate that can help lead the Red Raiders through spring practice:
Jordyn Brooks
Year: Senior
Position: LB
Brooks appeared in all 12 games in 2018, and for a consecutive season led the team defensively. He recorded a team best 43 solo tackles, assisted in 41 and was the team's leading overall tackler at 84.
