Other than the Oklahoma State series, this was as complete an effort I’ve seen from this team, and they couldn’t pick a better time to do it. Offense, defense and pitching all showed up and showed out.
The Red Raider bats jumped out to a three run lead in the first inning and never looked back. Tech tacked on 11 runs on 16 hits in the contest, chasing Army ace Daniel Burggraaf after the second inning. All nine starters recorded hits with six compiling multi-hit efforts.
