The Texas Tech football program received some good news on Thursday night when three-star linebacker Kevin Moore verbally committed to the Red Raiders. The native of Lafayette, Louisiana made his decision known via Twitter.
Recruited primarily by Texas Tech assistant coach Kevin Curtis, Moore chose the Red Raiders over offers from at least 15 other schools including Arizona State, Cal, Kansas State, Louisville, Miami, Oklahoma State, and others.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound linebacker is a tremendous athlete. According to 247Sports.com, Moore had 148 tackles, 5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries and 4 interceptions in 2014 as a junior.
