After a tough drop against Iowa State at home, Texas Tech travels to Waco to take on the Baylor Bears. Texas Tech, thus far, is 2-0 on the road after defeating West Virginia and Texas. Baylor has been steady at home with a 7-3 record, 1-1 against ranked opponents (victory against Iowa State but loss to Kansas).
With Deshawn Corprew still doubtful with a calf injury, Texas Tech is going to build on mistakes made prevalent last game. Avoiding quick transition points by the opponents and converting on open baskets will be on the front of Coach Beard’s game plan against a Bears team that loves to go for the takeaway.
