Texas Tech’s leading scorer, Devaugntah Williams has been missing in action in the team’s recent two-game losing streak. After averaging 14.0 points per game on the season, Williams tallied a total of 14 points in the Red Raiders’ two losses last week.
Williams is one of the few outside shooting threats Texas Tech has and when he struggles to score, the Red Raiders struggle offensively. For example, against Kansas on Saturday night, Williams was a dreadful 1-8 from the field scoring only four points. As a result, Texas Tech was held to 59 points, a season low.
The senior guard has shown to be a streaky player during his two years at Texas Tech.
