And now the fun begins.

A day after Lubbock was selected as one of 16 NCAA Regional hosts, the Texas Tech baseball team learned Monday who it would face off against at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.

After being named the No. 5 national seed, the Red Raiders will face off against No. 4 seed Delaware at 2 p.m. Friday in its first regional round contest. On the other side of the bracket, No. 3 Sam Houston (40-20) and No. 2 Arizona (37-19) will play a 6 p.m. Friday game.

The Lubbock regional was paired with the Tallahassee regional, which is comprised of matchups between Florida State (39-20)-Tennessee Tech (40-19) and Auburn (35-24)-UCF (40-20).
