The Cyclone starters
As is the case elsewhere in the Big 12, Iowa State is veteran laden. Led by All-American senior forward Georges Niang, the Cyclones are No. 13 in the country with losses to Northern Iowa and Oklahoma. Niang, shooting 55.4 percent from the floor and 41.2 percent from deep, averages 19.6 points per game.
His 42 assists on the season are second to one of the nation’s top point guards in junior Monte Morris. This season alone, Morris has 98 assists to only 19 turnovers.
