LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) Texas Tech had opportunities to extend their halftime lead against No. 12 Oklahoma State in the third quarter but the Red Raiders couldn't put together scoring drives.
''We didn't do what we needed to do in the fourth quarter, but I thought in the third quarter, I thought they played hard'' despite not scoring, Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury said after his team's 70-53 loss to the Cowboys on Saturday. ''Kept giving us the ball back with opportunities to go up 17 multiple times and we didn't get it done offensively.''
