After losing a trio of key contributors to the NBA, Texas Tech men's basketball continued to reload on Thursday by adding a pledge from San Antonio Wagner guard Kevin McCullar.
McCullar, 6-foot-6, 180-pounds, is a four-star prospect according to 247Sports.com who averaged 16.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game as a junior.
He chose the Red Raiders over schools like Houston, Louisville and Virginia Tech. Also, his mother and father are both Tech graduates.
McCullar, who announced back in May that he would be reclassifying from a 2019 to a 2018 prospect, plans to forgo his senior year of high school season and enroll at Tech in the spring.
