WACO – Every time Texas Tech tried to get back in the game, Baylor showed why it is ranked No. 4 in the nation.
The Lady Raiders couldn’t rally from numerous runs by the Lady Bears and fell 69-43 on Wednesday at the Ferrell Center.
Texas Tech (10-10, 1-8 Big 12) struggled to score again in the first quarter. A game removed from a program low first-half points (11) against Kansas State, the Lady Raiders only had two points in the game’s first eight minutes against the Lady Bears (20-1, 8-1).
However, LeeLee Grant converted a three-point play with 1:34 remaining to cut the Baylor lead to 12-5.
