Matt Wells and Co. continue to work the graduate transfer market for immediate-impact players.
Texas Tech on Wednesday announced the signings of running back Armand Shyne and linebacker Evan Rambo, which come on the heels of the addition of Penn State grad transfer Zech McPhearson.
Shyne has one year of eligibility following three seasons at Utah, and Rambo will have two years to play in Lubbock after graduating from Cal, provided the NCAA grants him an extension of his five-year clock.
In the 5-foot-11, 210-pound Shyne, the Red Raiders welcome a player who was the second-leading rusher (512 yards, 120 carries, five touchdowns) on a Utah team that reached the Pac-12 Championship Game and finished 9-5 overall.
