Three-star offensive line prospect Dawson Deaton from Frisco (TX) H.S. has narrowed his list of schools to four and Texas Tech has made the cut. Deaton announced on Twitter that his top four choices at the moment are Tech, Mississippi State, Houston and Kansas.
In addition to the schools in his top four, the 6-foot-4, 280-pound 2017 recruit has offers from Boise State, California, Colorado, Iowa State and Virginia among others. The recruiting website 247sports.com makes predictions about where prospects will end up and it has Deaton as a 100% lock to be a Red Raider.
However, there is a long time until signing day 2017 and Deaton has made it clear that he is still open to offers from new schools.
