The matchup
The Red Raiders head south Midland for a midweek battle with the New Mexico State Aggies. This will be the second time these two teams will meet this season after last week’s matchup was postponed. The last time these two teams met was on February 20th in Lubbock. Ryan Shetter threw six shutout innings to lead the Red Raiders to a 12-0 win over the Aggies. Since then the Aggies have gone 14-10 with series wins over Harvard and Maine.
