MIDLAND – Nothing went right for Abilene Christian in the seventh inning.
And Texas Tech took advantage of every miscue.
The Red Raiders scored seven runs off five hits, three errors and a bases loaded walk –all coming in the seventh – as they defeated the Wildcats 10-2 on Tuesday at Security Bank Ballpark
The inning began to get out of hand for ACU (9-29) after Tech shortstop Cory Raley laid down a perfect bunt, and instead of holding onto the ball, Wildcat pitcher Ladge Zotyka rushed the throw to first base.
