Texas Tech is starting to get on a roll under new head coach Matt Wells.
The Red Raiders landed their second recruit of the day as three-star Odessa Permian offensive lineman Landon Peterson pulled the trigger.
Peterson announced his decision via Twitter.
Peterson committed to Texas Tech over offers from Baylor, Colorado, Illinois, SMU, Virginia, Washington State and others.
At 6-foot-6, 265 pounds, Peterson is ranked as the No. 65 offensive tackle in the county and No. 106 overall prospect in the state, per 247Sports Composite.
Texas Tech now has 15 commits in its 2019 recruiting class, which ranks eighth in the Big 12.
