Texas Tech Football: What we learned in week one

The Texas Tech football team opened its season with a disappointing 47-27 loss to Ole Miss on Saturday. After months of anticipation, fans came away from the loss with far more questions than answers as the Red Raider defense looked like it had regressed and the offense lost starting quarterback McLane Carter to injury in the first quarter.

While one game does not a season make, it does provide us with some insight about this year’s team. Here is what we learned from this weekend’s game.
