Today, the Texas Tech football team welcomes TCU to Jones Stadium. The battle of 4-5 teams feels a bit like an elimination game for bowl contention as the loser will have to win out to get to the postseason.
It’s the second-straight game that feels like a must-win for Tech’s bowl hopes after last week’s contest at West Virginia. Hopefully, the Red Raiders will play as well today as they did in Morgantown when they jumped out to a 35-10 lead after scoring touchdowns on their first five possessions.
“There was a lot of pressure on our guys last week at West Virginia,” head coach Matt Wells said earlier this week.
