There is no time for the Texas Tech football team to sit around and become complacent following last week’s 41-17 drubbing of Oklahoma State. That is because one of the two Big 12 preseason favorites is set to arrive in Lubbock this week when No. 12 West Virginia comes calling.
The Mountaineers, along with Oklahoma, are considered by most to be a favorite to win the Big 12 and it is easy to see why. Senior quarterback Will Grier is the most accomplished QB in the conference and he has the best wide receiver duo in the nation to throw to in David Sills and Marcus Simms.
