It’s hard for Texas Tech football fans to find anything positive to say about TCU head coach Gary Patterson. He just rubs us the wrong way. Always tugging at his ill-fitting high-water khakis, sweating more than a criminal in a police department, and incessantly complaining about any and everything as if he’s an attitudinal teenager, he is easily the most disliked Big 12 head coach in the minds of Red Raider fans.
Of course, it is also hard for Texas Tech fans to deny Gary Patterson his success. After all, we would kill for Matt Wells to have that type of run at Tech (though we’d prefer his vocal cords remain intact unlike Patterson’s).
