Texas Tech Football signed the last of its 2016 signing class yesterday to finish the recruiting season out with 24 players. But what brought the group together, and why was it such a smooth Signing Day? Head coach Kliff Kingsbury walked us through the process while talking with Texas Tech’s managing director of public media Robert Giovannetti, where he touched upon several notable factors that contributed to the seamlessness.
There was much conversation before and throughout National Signing Day yesterday about whether a recruit would flip last minute, and even Kingsbury credited the drama-free day to the way the old coaches and new coaches were able to gel right away and connect with the players.
